161 - La vittoria di Ninurta - The victory of Ninurta

a colpire!”
pronto a riceverlo.

English (or almost)

It was not easy to defeat Anzu, but they could not
abandon the battle.
They consulted each other again, and finally, Enki
got the right idea.
"You'll have to create a storm with your Whirlwind!
You'll have to blind him with the dust! With the strength of the Wind
you will need to ruffle the wings of his bird so that it falls! "
The idea was accepted and Enlil built a powerful missile Tillum.
"Attack him with your weapon Whirlwind! When the wings
Bird Anzu will be nearby, you will need to be fast
to strike! "
Instructed Ninurta giving much advice, because even if
brave, was not an expert in combat.
However confided in her courage, praised him for this.
Ninurta took off and headed for the place where he
found Anzu, but Anzu noticed his arrival and was already
ready to receive it.
"Ala Ala against !!" yelled Anzu to challenge him.
They chased and attacked in heaven, and do not suffer
significant damage.
Then, Ninurta found himself in a good position and remembered the advice of his father.
With its Whirlwind lifted a mountain of dust
covered his face Anzu.
The tips of the wing of his bird were close, and while it reopened,
Ninurta hurled the missile Tillum.
The splendor of the missile is hooked to the wings of Anzu, and seemed to
observe the sunlight that enveloped him.
A sudden flash turned into a mighty fire and wings
Anzu began to burn.
Anzu fell to the ground.
The earth shook.
The sky darkened.
Ninurta landed next to Anzu, unconscious, and bound him,
taking him prisoner.
He retrieved the Tablets of Destiny and climbed on his Wind Turbines,
immediately went by Igigi, which from the mountain,
had witnessed the fight.
When Ninurta came, trembled in fear.
Abgaal and the Anunnaki kept prisoners were released and
Ninurta announced his victory.
