Non si sa se ci sono dei veri limiti a questo, ma la storia

insegna che si calpesta ogni diritto, ogni cognizione logica,

e che quella che chiamiamo “umanità” venga messa da

una parte per tempi migliori.

Anche le migliori intenzioni vengono messe da una parte

e si procede, non certo senza rimorsi, ma si procede verso

la salvezza sia del proprio essere che della propria razza

a discapito di qualsiasi logica e ragione.

La sopravvivenza della propria specie, infine, comprende

ogni possibilità, perché ogni specie intelligente ha in sé

la certezza di essere la migliore.

Infatti, si realizza, alla fine di ogni processo logico intelligente,

che la nostra salvezza è necessaria ad ogni costo.

A limiti estremi, si prendono decisioni estreme. Che poi siano

etiche o meno, diventa irrilevante. Oggi più che mai, vengono

prese decisioni di questo tipo con una certa facilità, quindi, la

decisione di Anu è in perfetta coerenza con quello che siamo

diventati noi, “a nostra immagine e somiglianza”, come diceva
